I know that this string was meant for me. I again state that Castor Troy's accusations are unfounded, ridiculous, uninformed, and malicious. If I wanted to verbally attack him, I would do it with my name attached next to the post. Other that that, I have no need to further this discussion or address these insane delusions by CT.

With that said, nice sign by the Tribe. Omar Olivares is another in the long string of ineffective transactions that have left the Tribe depleted. This team is going nowhere on a fast train to oblivion. This off season has yielded exactly no players that will improve the short or long term prospects of the Indians. They are staring down the barrell of a sub par season, and many years of erratic and unfulfilling play.

Maybe the Tribe can hold a Triple AAA championship parade at Public Square to celebrate the "new young talent".

You say you understand the concept of signing major league players to minor league contracts, but so far, your posts seem to indicate otherwise. Let it go! They don't mean a thing. Last year they signed about 6 or 7 to minor league deals, and to my recollection only one saw any more than a few days with the major league team.

Do you really believe that Lansing will be the starting shortstop and that Oliveres will be the number 5 pitcher?
